Baker Ngubane is a highly experienced and respected pioneer among black business leaders in South Africa. He has occupied key executive positions in some of South Africa’s leading companies listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and other Western Stock exchanges. Adjudged by Empowerdex as the fifth most influential Black Director in South Africa in 2002, he is one of the few business leaders who have spearheaded the strategic transformation of South African organisations.

Baker has a special interest in change management and organisational renewal and believes that effective leadership is the cornerstone of every successful business. He sees tremendous value in strategically managing leadership talent with a particular emphasis on mentoring and coaching as means of transferring knowledge.

Baker has served on many professional bodies in South Africa where his contributions have been crucial. The combination of his overseas studies and extensive travel worldwide has not only made him a global player but has helped him to develop international business networks that keep him abreast of global business developments.
